Life Lessons

We learn a lot of life lessons just by going through our daily routines.. This week has been full of those life lessons..

Lesson #1.. When saying "...our waiter is cute, you should ask him for your number.." (or anything about your waiter/waitress) you should probably look behind you to make sure that they aren't standing directly behind you. It will save you a lot of embarassment.

Lesson #2.. When it is late at night and you are driving on a highway and pull up to a stoplight and a cop pulls up next to you, don't smile at him.. He just thinks you are up to no good, gives you the stink eye, and follows you another two miles down the street.

Lesson #3.. When a cashier tells you something and your friend makes a face at you and starts to say something, you probably shouldn't say shut up.. The cashier will probably think you are talking to them.

Lesson #4.. You can only rent movies from blockbuster if you have a membership there.

Lesson #5.. Sometimes it's a lot harder to get a membership to blockbuster than you think. It definitely takes longer than just "a sec".

Lesson #6.. If you are craving a certain restaurant bad enough, you will drive around till you find it, so don't kid yourself when you say you can settle with something else. We all know you would drive a few extra miles just to get to that restaurant.

Lesson #7.. There are many ways you can kill someone using a skewer.. Including using it as a Harry Potter wand and yelling Avada Kedavra.

Lesson #8.. If you believe it, you can acheive it!

Lesson #9.. If there is a stack of packages, you should probably check that they are all supposed to go to fedex and make sure that they aren't ups packages. Fedex doesn't take ups packages.. You would think they were rivals or something.

Lesson #10.. The ups store closes at 7 o'clock sharp.

Lesson #11.. Pencils are really just out to get me and Patrick. What did we ever do to you you darn pencils?!

Lesson #12.. It takes a lot of will power not to buy something that you really want but don't necessarily need.

Lesson #13.. Parks close at 11 and sometimes cops come to check to see if you're still there. If you are, you must then scale a wall to get to your car without confronting the scary police officer.

Lesson #14.. I don't think police officers like me very much.

Lesson #15.. Not being able to make left turns because of tracks is really annoying when you mistakingly pass the building you need to go to.

Lesson #17.. Little kids say the funniest things.

Lesson #18.. A lot of people in this world are crazy. Some of these people include the Cake Boss who makes giant, ridiculous (although awesome) cakes.

Lesson #19.. If you break the bro code you get hit by a bus (see how I met your mother). So bro's you better watch out.

Lesson #20.. If you are close to the courthouse and not stressed on time, you should probably just walk.

Lesson #21.. When eating oreos you have to have milk.. Well if you put that milk in a bowl it makes it a whole lot easier to dunk.

Lesson #22.. If someone takes a picture when you aren't expecting it, it can turn out pretty scary!

Lesson #23.. I love my job.

Who is John Galt?

I finally finished Atlas Shrugged! It is such a long book but it is so worth reading! I highly recommend it! Who is John Galt??

Reasons why Monday was amazing:

1. Actually went running
2. Wrote a letter to Elder Dallas Hileman
3. Krispy Kreme.. 2 Dozen
4. The Rocket Summer Concert!!
5. I got a tour t-shirt
6. I touched Bryce (The Rocket Summer) not one time, not two times, but three times
7. He touched my hand back...
8. He played my favorite song, Brat Pack.. I almost started crying
9. He played my second favorite song, Never Knew.. Hali almost started crying
10. Bryce came out into the audience and I was one person away from him, plus he walked in between me and Mileaha
11. I got to go to the concert with Mileaha, Hali, Jeff, and Ashton
12. The Rocket Summer! Nuff said..

Reasons why Tuesday was.. Interesting:

1. Woke up with a hangover (not alcohol induced no worries) from the Rocket Summer Concert
2. Ate Pizza and doughnuts on the couch with my mom while watching CSI Miami
3. Fit three giant recycle bins and four people in a not so big elevator
4. Went grocery shopping for a law firm
5. Got the wrong kind of coffee creamer and had to go back
6. Got called a little Jen
7. Hand delivered something to a judge
8. Saw a bus get pulled over
9. Had a security guard tell a creeper to leave me alone
10. Realized I didn't have any cash and that I left my debit card
11. Almost got hit by a mad idiot driving in reverse down the highway
12. Had to go back to the office to borrow money (result of #10) from my daddy
13. Went to a Bee's game with Clay East and had an amazing time
14. Saw someone almost die when they turned in front of a train, made it away with a second to spare
15. 11 o'clock Taco run for me and my mama
16. Watched How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory
17. Thought of The Rocket Summer Concert ALL day!
