God Bless America the Beautiful

Seeing as this week is the 4th of July, it got me thinking about our country, specifically our trip to Washington D.C. and all of the amazing things we got to see there. It made me think that this is a great time to talk about our trip. Oh and Happy 4th everyone!!

Day 1

8:00 AM Arrive at the Salt Lake Int'l Airport

10:00 AM Flight departs
I sat next to Landon on his first airplane ride ever! It was.. Interesting!

4:09 PM Flight arrives at BWI Int'l Airport
After the flight we went and met our busses. Our bus was "Gunther". Me, Tiffany, Hayden, Landon, and Thomas would sit on the back two rows every bus ride, and man were those bus rides fun!

5:00 PM Dinner at the Ronald Reagan Building

There was a little rotunda that had the best accoustics and Colton sang for us!

6:00 PM Illuminations tour
We went and saw the Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, Vietnam Wall, Martin Luther King, and Franklin D. Roosevelt memorials. We sang at the Lincoln and Jefferson memorials.

10:00 PM Arrive and check in at the Hilton hotel.
Me, Tiffany, Emily, and Tyler were all roommates. We had a blast, even if we weren't as crazy as some of the other rooms, but that is a different story. The night was spent searching around the hotel and then sleeping.
